HashKey Exchange responds to KYC audit congestion / Know your customers — I’m a real person

Hong Kong’s licensed retail exchange HashKey Exchange said that although the APP product function is not yet fully open, a large number of users still visit the official registration and submit KYC (identity verification) on the first day of release, resulting in congestion in KYC audits. HashKey Exchange staff reported that the emergency plan has been launched to mobilize more resources to support account opening review, and it is expected that the pressure of KYC review will be significantly eased within a few days. KYC is used for compliance and identity verification, just like bank account opening requires printing and submitting ID cards, and is used to inspect real people to prevent malicious transactions or attacks by bots.
