OnlyFake website-generated ID is able to bypass the KYC checks of multiple crypto exchanges / The Year of the Dragon is auspicious, leap fake-ID
According to Cointelegraph, a new service claims to use AI “neural networks” and “generators” to make fake driver’s licenses and passports and successfully pass the KYC checks of multiple cryptocurrency exchanges at a cost of only $15. The site, called OnlyFake, generates fake driver’s licenses and passports from 26 countries, including the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, and several EU countries, and accepts payments in multiple cryptocurrencies through Coinbase’s business payment service. This service could be a boon for cryptocurrency scammers and hackers who can use fake documents to open exchanges and bank accounts, protect their real identities and make them more difficult to trace.
